Lovely clutch that can hold many items. Love it in Automne colour from Spring 09.
This perforated portfolio from Prada's Spring 10 Collection can pair any ensemble, casual or formal.
Dries Van Noten Portfolio (USD$885)
This croc version of a portfolio looks like my Hayden-Harnett in terms of its zippered slots, and the flap. Black croc portfolio screams stylish businessman.
Bottega Veneta Nero Waxed Python Satchel (USD$4350)
Luxurious python leather added with two lines of BV's signature weaving on the sides of the satchel makes this Fall 09 satchel a must have.
Bottega Veneta Nero Soft Crocodile Satchel (USD$10800)
The Holy Grail of the clutches, the satchel of all satchels (for now), the price is extraordinary, but the croc leather is just as good. Very lovely and classic piece that can be used for many prosperous years to come.
To tell you the truth, this is my wish list! =X

To be frank, I can't see either a $10,800 or $4,350 clutch as a must-have item. As beautiful as they are (and they are very stylish indeed), both would be worth more than the contents, would be easy to steal or forget. So, not a good value in my opinion, especially for an accessory. Just my opinion, though. Since I don't have that kind of money to spend it's rather moot. :)
ReplyDeletei am loving the Prada and Dries van Noten portfolios, both understated and classy.
ReplyDeletei saw and held in my hands the least expensive of the Bottega Veneta portfolios (HK$5,400) which weren't featured in your blog entry. i thought about it and decided not to purchase, as it was too expensive for the item (only slightly larger than A4-size paper, and a bit squarish --- would have preferred it more rectangular-shaped).
hello... hapi blogging... have a nice day! just visiting here....
